A place where attention returns

We design and build turnkey tea spaces for apartments, houses and private banyas (saunas). Light, material, water and teaware are gathered around a ritual, so you can pause.

Thought arrives in silence.
Feeling rises above it.

Tea room: light through a paper screen, a stone water basin, steam over a cast-iron kettle and cups on a walnut table
Light, water and steam are parts of one ritual.

At home there is a place to sleep, to work and to eat. But often there is no place where you can simply stop.

This is what we create tea rooms for: a space with less of what is unnecessary: noise, visual clutter, rush. What remains is tea, a person and the chance to be here and now.

At home

  • In the morning, to tune into the day.
  • During the day, to pause between tasks.
  • In the evening, to come back to yourself.

The tea room becomes a place where you do not need to rush anything.

A tea room is not an interior. It is self-remembering built into a space.

What attention looks like

A tea corner in your apartment

A morning cup before the phone. An evening when friends stay longer.

  • Built into a living room, study or bedroom
  • Teaware and light tuned to your ritual
  • Storage for tea and teaware, so the table stays clear

Why you slow down here

We do not decorate a room “in Chinese style”. We build it around a ritual so that every detail helps you stop and notice.

  • Daylight passes through a paper screen and casts shadows on the wall

    Light

Diffused through paper. It does not glare and does not hurry you.

  • Close-up of a walnut tabletop texture

    Material

Warm to the touch: walnut, ash, oak, slate, travertine.

  • Steam over a white porcelain cup of tea

    Water & steam

They set a slow rhythm you want to stay in.

  • Close-up of a Yixing clay teapot

    Ritual

Yixing clay, Jingdezhen porcelain. Every object has its place.

Your room is designed from scratch for your space.

From the first idea to the first tea ceremony

You do not need to look for a furniture maker, ceramics and a lighting specialist: one team leads the project from the first meeting and measurement to the first ceremony. We work under contract, so you always know what comes next and what it costs.

Who does it

Tea is not a drink. It is the architecture of a state of mind.

My name is Egor Nazarov. For more than 8 years I have been studying Chinese tea culture, the philosophy of space and how surroundings shape a person’s inner state.

That is why every project is not a copy of the previous one, but a new space shaped for its owner and their ritual.

And that is why we do more than design: in Yekaterinburg we run our own tea bar, Chao Da. Every day we select teas there, brew for guests and see how a space lives from the inside.

How we start: a video call, then a meeting on site

For clients in Georgia and Europe, every project starts in two steps:

  1. Video callWe look at your space together, discuss the idea, the format and a budget guide. No obligation.
  2. Meeting on siteWe come to see the space in person and agree on the project.

What a tea room costs

The cost depends on the area, materials, level of fit-out and what the space needs to do.

We do not sell a ready-made furniture set. We create the whole tea room: from the idea and layout to furniture, light, teaware, installation and the first tea experience.

  • Site visit and measurementWe see the space before we price it
  • Author’s supervisionThe project is built as designed
  • 365 days of supportA year of support after launch

The cost is set after we get to know the space

The final cost depends on:

  1. area
  2. condition of the space
  3. engineering
  4. materials
  5. furniture
  6. equipment
  7. level of fit-out
  8. complexity

That is why we first get to know the space and the task, and then prepare a proposal with a clear scope of work and budget. Euro prices are a guide converted from roubles on 1 October 2026.

The first step: a concept
